Urang Vitamin Oil Serum vs Urang Glow Oil Serum | which one is better?

Vitamin Oil vs Glow Oil Serum

If you look at these at a quick glance, they might look like the exact same product. In reality they are very different from each other, even the colors! Let’s check out the differences between them~

Vitamin Oil Serum

These day I’ve been really enjoying incorporating oil serums into my skincare routine. It has made such a huge difference. My skin feels hydrated, smooth, and glowy. This serum is no exception. This serum is filled with 97.68% organic ingredients and 99.9% natural ingredients. When digging more into the ingredients, I realized a lot of the benefits were good for improving skin texture, minimizing the appearance of fine lines, brightening, nourishing, and repairing the skin.

Some main ingredients are: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil (for skin conditioning), Rosa Moschata Seed Oil (provide powerful anti-oxidant protection), and Tocopherol (form of vitamin E).

Full list of ingredients:

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Rosa Moschata Seed Oil*, Tocopherol, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*, Rose Flower Oil, Commiphora Myrrha Oil, Boswellia Carteri Oil, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil (*Organic Ingredient)

Every morning, I like to go in with the vitamin oil serum. It’s much more of a lighter texture compare to the glow oil serum, so it feels comfortable throughout the day. Also it gives me enough glow that looks good when I have makeup or no makeup. I haven’t seen much differences yet with my fine lines and brightening effect, but I do enjoy how my skin feels.

More details on the oil serum:

  1. Texture ~ It is a light-weight oil texture that penetrates quickly into the skin. It feels very comfortable on the skin and doesn’t leave much of a oily residue.
  2. Smell~ This has a very calming aromatic smell to it. Personally, I can smell the lavender and rosehip a lot more compare to the other ingredients. It always makes me feel so calm when I apply it every morning.
  3. Color ~ It’s a gorgeous light pasty yellow shade. Very similar to the glow oil serum except more pale and brighter.

Glow Oil Serum

In comparison to the vitamin oil serum, I like to use the glow oil serum every night. Since the oil texture is bit more dense, I don’t want it to overlap with my morning skincare routine. This serum contains 98.5% organic ingredients and 99.9% natural ingredients. Most ingredients focus on skin rejuvenation, restoration, and deep moisture.

Some main ingredients are: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (for skin hydration and anti-oxidant protection), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil (for skin conditioning), and Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil (helps skin look smooth and free from fine lines).

Full ist of ingredients are:

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil*, Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil*, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Oil*, Tocopherol, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Oil*, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Oil, (*Organic ingredient)

As I mentioned before, during my night skincare routine, I like to incorporate the glow oil serum. This serum is a more dense texture which is very moisturizing. If I thought the vitamin oil serum “glow” was astounding, then I was wrong. The Glow Oil Serum is at a whole other level. After applying this oil serum, my face looks like glass skin. It provides that nice dewy translucent sheen.

A few more things I noticed about the serum~

  1. Smell ~ It has a very unique smell that reminds me of some flower. I’m not a huge fan of the scent, but it something I can get used to. Also after applying it, I barely notice the scent.
  2. Color~ The color is darker than the vitamin oil serum. It’s more of an orange-yellow shade. The colors definitely reminds me of a sunflower.
  3. Texture ~ It’s a dense oil texture that applies nicely. It doesn’t entirely soak into the skin but it still feels comfortable on the skin.

Similarities and Differences Between the Oil Serums.

Even though the oil serums had similar ingredients such as the jojoba oil and tocopherol, they reacted very differently on my skin. The vitamin oil serum felt very light-weight and hydrating whereas the glow oil serum was dense and moisturizing. If you have very dry, damaged, or mature skin, the glow oil serum would be suitable since it contains many ingredients that aid with deep moisture and fine lines. On the other hand, if you want to target skin texture, brightening, and fine lines, then I would go for the vitamin oil serum.

Who is the winner?

I love them both BUT I would pick the Vitamin Oil Serum as the winner. Why? I enjoy the light-weight texture, relaxing aroma, and how nicely it absorbs into the skin. Also it doesn’t interfere with my other skincare steps. These days I really want to use more skincare ingredients that help with brightening and reducing fine lines, so this serum has definitely helped me to take that step.
